The March 19, 2026, Race to Salvage the Case

On March 9, 2026, the DC Public Service Commission’s Hearing Officer, Mr. Noel Antonio, dismissed the Formal Hearing Complaint I submitted to the Commission on February 21, 2025.

That meant I had only ten days to salvage my 18 month battle for an accurate Pepco bill based on an verifiable meter reading. Once again, my attorneys at the Office of the People’s Counsel (“FauxPC”) strung me along to run out the clock for Pepco’s benefit.

Thankfully, I was already 10 moves ahead and recorded over 6 hours of video messages to Honorable

On March 9, 2026, the DC Public Service Commission issued an Order dismissing my Formal Hearing complaint even though Pepco cannot validate any of the meter readings used to bill me since I moved back into my home on July 1, 2023. On March 27, the Office of the People’s Counsel sent me an email informing me it was withdrawing as my counsel and filed a Notice of Withdrawal 30 minutes later.

Hours later, the DC Public Service Commission issued an Order scheduling a rate-making hearing for the rates that had been vacated by the DC Court of Appeals on March 5, 2026 (conveniently issued hours before DC PSC & OPC testified at Councilmember Allen’s Overlook Hearing.)

It is up to the PEOPLE to take the POWER back! Join the Resistance!!
